Barbados opened its doors in December 1988. It started out as a tapas bar, offering a huge range of dishes like no other restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Quality produce has always been its key cornerstone.

Different types of rice dishes would be prepared at the weekends, with guests being able to select their own portions.

1995

In 1995, Barbados took on a new lease of life with a full refurbishment of the restaurant.

A large seating area was created as a complement to the popular bar area.

In 2015, and with an impeccable reputation, Barbados completely overhauled its image with a view to keeping its guests happy and making them feel even more comfortable.

Wider tables, more comfortable chairs and a temperature-controlled wine cellar overlooking the dining room for guests to select their favourite wine, all within a quintessentially Mediterranean setting.

2018

We focus on the present, with our roots placed in our past and eagerly looking forward to the future. All this to keep on satisfying our guests and offering a unique culinary experience, based on a wide variety of the best produce.

What our guests say

  • We were a table of four people and ordered as starters some anchovies that were outrageous then a grilled octopus which taste was amazing but the best was yet to come with the monkfish really outstanding!! We ordered also breaded cod that was good. As dessert we had an apple pie that closed a perfect lunch! I strongly recommend it, if you have the chance don't miss it!

  • Great restaurant with delicious fish! It just melts on your tongue! We had a great bottle of wine with it that you can choose from the extensive wine collection and finished our delicious meal with the irresistible Chocolate Coulant! Jummie!!!
